Cut the Deportation Subsidies
Avelo Airlines is the first commercial airline in the U.S. to sign a contract with ICE to operate secret charter deportation flights. These flights take place without public oversight and without any guarantee that the people on board have legal counsel or due process.
In some cities and states, our tax dollars are helping pay for it.
Avelo has taken millions in subsidies, grants, and tax breaks from local and state governments — the same communities now hosting their deportation flights.
If we cut off those subsidies, we make it too costly for Avelo to continue profiting from deportations. And we send a clear warning to every other airline: if you cooperate with ICE, you’ll face a national backlash.

Our Demand: No Public Money for Deportation Profiteers
Wherever Avelo operates, our demands are clear: stop subsidizing cruelty. Cities and states are pouring public dollars into an airline that runs secretive ICE deportation flights—flights with no guarantee of due process, legal counsel, or even basic transparency. We’re calling on state and local officials to:
Cut public subsidies, grants, and tax breaks to Avelo Airlines
Pass policies to ensure no future subsidies go to deportation contractors
Make a public statement condemning Avelo’s ICE deportation contract
